IMAGINE…………………… Sunset.
– yellow and orange gently fading into red and mauve. The tok-tok-tok of a
hornbill, the grunt of impala. Slowly the green of the knob thorn, umbrella
thorn and marula darken until only the silhouettes are etched against the
clear sky. Movement! With long leaps from tree to tree a bush baby and his
mate come closer. Peer with huge eyes and hope for a snack. Nearly dark now.
The warthogs pay a last visit. You stoke the fire and smell the lingering
aroma of lead wood and braaied meat, sip your drink and hear the distant roar
of a lion; the call of an owl. Bedtime. Just a few steps to your luxurious
room. Wonderful warm shower, crisp clean sheets and a snuggly comfortable
bed. Your last thought before drifting off – surely the best of two worlds!

Kruger
National Park
The
Kruger
National Park is one of the most well known reserves in Africa and
the most famous game reserve in South Africa. The park covers more
than 2 million hectares and is home to the big 5 game, birdlife and many
other species of wildlife in various habitats. The Kruger Park is a
top destination for international visitors and a favorite for locals
too. The park stretches from the crocodile river in the south up to
the Limpopo in the north. Adenium is situated between and close by
Malelane Gate and Crocodile Bridge gate in the south. Excellent game
viewing is on offer in this southern region on the park. |

Marloth
Park
Marloth Park is a conservancy in which animals
wander around unhindered. Impala, zebra and warthog are plentiful and
kudu, giraffe and bushbuck are often seen. Sometimes even lion,
leopard and cheetah pay us a visit! Adenium’s guest area is fenced
which ensures that children (and their parents) are safe. The kudu,
zebra and warthog are very friendly and bird watching is superb.
Marloth Park is about 450km from Johannesburg and the turnoff is after
Malelane approximately 8km past Hectorspruit and 15km before
Komatipoort on the N4 to Mozambique. |
